  - Presenter(s)  must agree to all Terms and Conditions for participation in NAESP’s 2012  Conference, BEST PRACTICES FOR BETTER SCHOOLS™ — The National Conference & Expo of the Year.
        
     
- Proposals  must be submitted electronically no later than Wednesday, September 14, 2011 at  11:59 p.m. Eastern U.S. time.
        
             
- Incomplete  proposals will not be considered for review and will be deleted after  Wednesday, September 14, 2011.
        
             
- NAESP's 2012 Conference & Expo programming is a non-commercial forum. NAESP  respects the participant's goals for professional development and objects to  any discussions or suggestions implying the sale or marketing of products,  programs, services, or anything else representing monetary self-interest.  Expectation is that all presenters submitting a proposal understand and support  this objective. Failure to comply will impact future consideration.
        
             
- Sessions  will be held from 7:30 a.m. to 5:00 p.m., Thursday, March 22 through Saturday,  March 24, 2012. Presenter(s) must be available for any day and time NAESP assigns.  Exceptions for religious considerations or other scheduling conflicts will be  accommodated whenever possible if they are communicated in writing in advance.
        
             
- Up  to two presenters can be listed for each proposal. Do not list  presenters without a definite commitment that the co-presenter will appear on  the program. It is expected that all presenters will adhere to the policies,  procedures, and deadlines established. This will help ensure that all  information is posted and published in a timely manner for attendees to view  and that all of the presenters’ needs are met. 
        
             
- An  individual may not submit or present more than three proposals.
        
             
- The  same school/organization may not appear on more than three proposals.
        
             
- The  primary person submitting each proposal will serve as the point of contact for  NAESP. This person will be responsible for informing the presenter(s) of the  status of the proposal, deadlines, registration fees, handouts, and all related  presentation specifications. 
        
             
- Presenter  substitutions must be approved by NAESP and may not be reflected in the  program. 
        
             
- Presenters  at NAESP's 2012 Conference, BEST PRACTICES FOR BETTER SCHOOLS™ — The National Conference & Expo of the  Year are expected to use materials and language that do not discriminate on the  basis of gender, race, color, ethnicity, religion, physical ability and/or  sexual orientation.
        
             
- NAESP  does not grant honoraria or pay expenses for concurrent session presenters. The  benefit of contributing your knowledge and expertise to others in the  profession at a national conference leads to professional growth and  development and ultimately expands leadership capacity and learning from  colleagues and peers!
        
             
- All  presenters must pay the conference registration fee and have a registration  badge. Up to two (2) presenters will receive a discounted registration rate of  $200 (this discount is not transferable or refundable) and must register by  February 3, 2012. Instructions and a specially coded presenter registration  form will be provided with presentation schedule notifications. 
        
             
- No  handouts will be duplicated or distributed by NAESP onsite. NAESP requires at  least one handout per session to enhance the learning experience. For  sessions with multiple presenters, a combined or individual handout is  acceptable. Electronic copies (PDFs) of handouts will be posted online or  provided in other electronic formats. Submitting a proposal indicates  understanding and acceptance of this policy. 
        
             
- Whenever  possible, NAESP records programming. This access allows attendees to more  deeply engage in the professional development opportunities presented. All  participants are required to provide NAESP with permission to record, edit,  transcribe, duplicate, distribute, and reproduce any written or visual material  submitted in connection with and including the oral presentation, delivered at  this program, in any and all media now existing or hereafter developed,  throughout the world. All presenters must grant this permission in order to be  considered for participation in NAESP's educational offerings. Submitting a  proposal indicates understanding and acceptance of this policy.
        
             
- Presentations  must cover the same content as described in the proposal. 
        
             
- If  your proposal is selected, NAESP reserves the right to revise presentation  titles, reassign the identified content area, or edit the program description  for promotional and program materials. 
        
             
- By  submitting a proposal for consideration for NAESP's 2012 Conference, BEST PRACTICES FOR BETTER SCHOOLS™ — The  National Conference & Expo of the Year, you agree that NAESP and Lifetouch  National School Studios Inc. and their successors, agents, representatives,  licensees, and assigns have your permission to use any or all of the images  and/or audio recordings in which you may be included, in whole, in part or  together with others, without restriction as to changes or alterations. This  permission allows images to be used, copied, and published locally, regionally,  or nationally through any means of communication, including but not limited to  video, displays, samples, print media, television, and the Internet at any  place for any lawful purpose and is irrevocable. You are also waiving any and  all rights to compensation for the reproduction, sale, and use of such  materials.
        
             
- NAESP  will provide a lectern, one microphone, computer, LCD projector, remote  control, and screen. NAESP does not provide internet or audio speakers for  concurrent sessions.
